Andrea was born and raised in the Ozark Mountains of Southwest Missouri in the small town of Nixa located just 50 miles north of the Country Music mecca, Branson, Missouri.

From an early age, Andrea seemed destined to be an entertainer. Andrea's passion for singing became very obvious before she entered grade school. She loved to perform, especially at the family gatherings. She grew up in a family that loved to sing. Often at her grandparent's home, the family would gather around and sing for hours while her mother played the piano and her grandfather played the guitar.

While singing, she would hold a pencil or a hair brush and sometimes the handle of a jump rope pretending she had a microphone in her hand. According to her mother, she could be observed on numerous occasions standing in front of a mirror admiring her performances.

Andrea was very active in her church and the youth group. She performed in several church musicals and was also asked to sing solos for Sunday service.

Throughout her high school years, Andrea did it all. She used her god-given talent of singing by participating in the school musicals, state music competitions, and various variety shows. Andrea even got to perform with her mother on occasions singing in a local talent contest and school variety show. She envisioned herself being a recording artist after high school, but the need to further her education led her to joining the Army Reserves. After completing her basic training and military education, she then went on to complete her civilian Radiologic Technology certification in Springfield, Missouri.

After moving to Dallas in 1990, Andrea took some time off from her singing while working as an X-Ray Technologist and completing her service in the Army Reserves.

She also served in Germany during the Gulf War.

In 1994 she could no longer deny her desire to perform. Starting back slowly, Andrea performed in several local talent contests. She won numerous awards and continued on to the Opry houses around the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Realizing the need to expand on her stage presence, she auditioned and landed a spot in the "Santa Country Christmas Show" at Six Flags Over Texas. Andrea was asked to stay on and perform in the "Hot Rockin' Country Show" for the next season.

A chance meeting at a club proved to be a great boost to her career. Andrea hooked up with a local band and became a regular guest performer at several local hot spots.

In 1997 Andrea decided to take fate into her own hands. She made the difficult decision to leave her home and friends to pursue her dream in Nashville.

Since moving to Nashville, Andrea has performed with several aspiring artists in town. She has been seen at the Wildhorse Saloon, Jamin' Java and Boardwalk Café.

Her studio work is also extensive. She has worked with numerous songwriters and producers in Nashville.

Andrea has always remained focused to her main goal and dream of becoming a recording artist. And with the help of some extremely gifted songwriters and other artists, she has completed this demo project. A work that she is very proud to call her own style!
